Cork Super Cup Mascot Competition: Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility Criteria:

  • The competition ("Competition") is open to persons who are:
  • Residents of Ireland.
  • Parents/guardians of a child aged between 7 and 11 years old on 8th July 2025.
  • Excludes employees or agents of SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh and their families.
  • Entrants must be available to attend the Cork Super Cup event on 8 July 2025 in Cork.

 

2. How to Enter:

  • To enter the Competition, follow our @corksupercup Instagram page, like our Instagram post and comment #CorkSuperCup and either ‘Celtic FC Mascot’ or ‘Cork City FC Mascot’ on the Instagram post.
  • Only one entry per Instagram account. Multiple entries will not be counted.
  • The competition will run from Monday, April 14th, 2025, and entries will close at 12PM on Monday April 21st 2025.
  •  The winners will be announced at 12PM on Tuesday April 22nd, 2025.
  • Winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct.
  • By entering, you agree to allow your entry, including your child’s photo, to be featured on the Cork Super Cup and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh’s Instagram page and other related promotional platforms.

 

3. Terms of Participation:

  • By entering the Competition, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
  • You agree that, if selected, your child’s photo and name will be used for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

 

4. Selection Process:

  • The winners will be selected using a random generator.
  • The winners will be either a Celtic FC Mascot, or a Cork City FC mascot, whichever they asked to be in their comment on our Instagram post.
  • The 2 winners will be announced on the Cork Super Cup’s Instagram page (“@corksupercup”) and contacted directly.
  • The decision of the random generator is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

5. Prize Details:

  • The winning child will act as the official mascot at the Cork Super Cup event for either Celtic FC or Cork City FC.
    This includes:
    • Escorting players onto the pitch during the event.
    • Receiving a special mascot kit, which may include items like a jersey and other event-related memorabilia.
    • The winner will receive two tickets to the Cork Super Cup event: one for the mascot and one for their parent/guardian.
    • The winner must be available to attend the event in Cork on 8 July 2025.
    • Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities before and during the event, including photos and interviews.

 

6. Prize Redemption:

  • The winner will be contacted by the organisers of the Cork Super Cup and provided with details for redeeming their prize.
  • Tickets will not be posted but provided at the venue.
  • The winner and accompanying guardian must arrive at the event by the specified time to ensure participation in all activities.
  • Travel and accommodation are not included as part of the prize.

 

7. Publicity:

  • By entering, you agree that the winner’s name may be publicly shared on the Cork Super Cup’s social media channels, including Instagram, as well as on other promotional materials.
  • Participants may be required to take part in additional media or promotional activities, including photoshoots or interviews related to the competition and the Cork Super Cup event.

 

8. Data Protection:

  • By entering the Competition, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data and your child’s personal data for the purpose of this competition and its associated promotional activities.
  • Your details will only be used in accordance with the Cork Super Cup’s and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh’s privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
  • You have the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

9. General Terms:

  • The promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition if necessary, with no liability to the entrants.
  • The promoter is not responsible for any technical issues that prevent participation or failure to submit entries on time.
  • The Competition is subject to Irish law, and any disputes will be resolved in the Irish courts.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

  • The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ireland.

 

11. Agreement to Terms:

  • By entering the Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. All entries are subject to these official rules.
